Do you want to honor the men and women who have served the country but you don’t know how? Valor Run Clarksville is the perfect way to pay homage to those who are currently serving as well as veterans of the armed forces. You can honor the memory of our fallen soldiers during this event. The race will take place on Sept. 15, and it’ll start at the Beachaven Vineyards and Winery. You can take part in the Memorial Mile, the Visit Clarksville 5k, or the Half Marathon. Registration fee is $10 for the mile, $30 for the 5k, and $50 for the half marathon. Each race offers something special for participants.
The Memorial Mile
The Memorial Mile might be the shortest of the races, but it will also likely be the most emotional. This mile will be in honor of the fallen soldiers of Fort Campbell, and family members are likely to participate. That means you just might walk or jog alongside someone who has lost a loved one. Like all of the events, this mile will start and end close to the American Veteran Traveling Tribute Wall. That will add an extra bit of significance to the event.

5k and Half Marathon
Both the Valor Run 5k and half marathon will take you through Montgomery County’s countryside. You won’t have as much of a chance to reflect as you push yourself during these races. Instead, you will honor the men and women in uniform by pushing your body to its limits. You will realize that you can dig deeper and achieve things you never thought possible. When you finish, you will be able to catch your breath at the American Veteran Traveling Tribute Wall. You will quickly realize that soldiers push themselves to their limits every day. That will give you some insight into the determination it takes to be an American soldier.
You will likely get emotional when you attend the Valor Run. You will spend the day thinking of the sacrifices soldiers make every day. You also might want to go and explore the rest of the country. For instance, you might want to visit the Vietnam Wall or see a Civil War battleground. You can tour the country and see it all with the help of a new vehicle from James Corlew Chevrolet Cadillac in Clarksville, Tennessee. Your new vehicle will make it easy to see all the sights in the country.
