It’s almost time for Music City Winterfest! This free event will be at Centennial Park on Dec. 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Dec. 9 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This festival celebrates all the best parts of the holiday season. There’ll be shopping, live entertainment, great food, and brews. Oh, and the big man himself (A.K.A. Mr. Claus) will make an appearance.
The Holiday Market
Stuck looking for that perfect gift for the holidays? If the mall isn’t cutting it, you need to go to Winterfest. You can shop at more than 100 artisan booths that’ll be selling everything from jewelry to salsa. You can even get some handmade soap for that hard-to-buy-for family member. If you can’t find it here, it doesn’t exist.
The Entertainment
It’s hard to beat free entertainment, especially when you consider the lineup. There’ll be music, and while that’s fun, the Winter Beard Competition Judging just might be the best of all the events. You know how guys love to grow those gnarly winter beards? Now they can actually get an award for it.
Oh, and get this. The Dreams Do Come True Princesses will be there too. Your kids will love meeting some princesses in person. Be sure to bring your camera for that.
What’s Cookin’?
It’s not a festival without food, right? You will seriously get your grub on here. There’ll be barbecue, seafood, and even gourmet grilled cheese. You can wash it all down with a brew or two from the beer garden. There are so many options that it practically feels like a food festival instead of Winterfest.
Eat with Santa
Nothing makes your kids’ eyes light up quite like Santa. Santa is still magical to them, and they will love having breakfast with him on Dec. 8 at 10 a.m. While it’s free to attend Winterfest, you do have to pay for the breakfast. It’s $40 for adults and $25 for kids 10 and under. That might sound like a lot of money, but the kids get more than breakfast. There is also live entertainment, and they get a photo with Santa. If you want to make some memories, you need to attend this breakfast.

Onesie Brunch
Don’t let the name fool you. This isn’t for the little ones. Adults 21 and over are encouraged to put on their favorite onesies and eat some brunch on Dec. 9 at 11 a.m. There’ll be cocktails, food, and live entertainment, plus lots of laughs. You can’t help but giggle when you see a bunch of adults sipping cocktails while in onesies. Like the breakfast with Santa, you do have to pay for this event. Ticket are $50, but that includes everything.
You are going to have two days packed with fun. What if you could extend that and have fun day after day? That’s just what you can do with a new ride from James Corlew Chevrolet in Clarksville, Tennessee. Your next adventure will always be a short drive away when you own a Chevrolet.
