Baking treats is a fun activity for the whole family on Christmas Eve, so start this year’s celebrations off with this amazing M&M cookie recipe. It’s delicious and guaranteed to bring a smile to Santa’s face!

Ingredients

For these incredibly tasty cookies, you’ll need the standard cookie staples plus a few sweet extras. You’ll need flour, butter, white and brown sugar, baking soda, eggs, salt, vanilla extract, M&M’s Baking Bits, milk, and white chocolate chips. Just seeing these ingredients has us ready to devour these cookies!

Directions

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Grab a medium to large sized bowl and whisk the flour and baking soda. Take out your standing mixer and mix the sugars, salt, vanilla, and butter together on medium speed until everything is fully combined. Next, mix in the egg and egg yolk, followed by the flour mixture. Sprinkle in the M&M’s and chocolate chips and chill the dough for 30 minutes.

After the dough is done chilling, take it out and start measuring out your cookie dough balls on your cookie sheet. Add more M&M’s before popping the sheet into the oven for 8-10 minutes. In hardly any time at all, you have adorable, delightful cookies ready for Santa.

Tips for Success

These cookies are delicious enough as is, but we do have two quick tips for the best possible outcome. Our first tip is to buy milk and white chocolate chips in whatever your favorite brand is. There’s no specific one that has to go into this, so make it your own. Our second tip is to make sure you chill the dough for 30 minutes before you bake it. You can skip this part if you’re running short on time, but we highly recommend it.
