The 58th Mid-South Jazz Festival is coming up and you don’t want to miss it! March 22-23, 2019 are the dates this year and this cool event is sponsored by the Clarksville Community Concert Association. Clarksville puts on some pretty amazing music festivals and this one is perfect for your passionate sax and piano soul listeners. It starts at 7:30 p.m. and will be held in the Music/Mass Communication Building APSU George & Sharon Mabry Concert Hall located at 511 8th Street, Clarksville, TN 37040.
Mid-South Jazz Festival fans know Joel Frahm for his big tenor inventive sax sounds. This award-winning saxophonist has recorded with Dianne Schuur, Freddy Cole, Jane Monheit, and others while a regular on the New York City club circuit. He will be joined by David Berkman on piano. Berkman’s skills are praised worldwide. Berkman is an accomplished composer and bandleader in the New York jazz community also playing in countless bands around the globe. These two will not disappoint!
