Fright On Franklin

Fright On Franklin

Do you feel that chill starting to come in the air? That chill means something very important. It’s almost time for Halloween! Celebrate Halloween the best way possible by attending Fright on Franklin on Oct. 27. The free event will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Historic Downtown Clarksville. It’s sure to be fun for the entire family, so grab your favorite costume and get ready for the fun.

The Costume Contest

Think back to your favorite Halloween costume ever. Maybe you were a scary vampire when you were a kid, or you might have been a handsome prince or beautiful princess. Now, imagine if you had won an award for that amazing costume. That would have made Halloween even better.

You might not have taken home first prize when you were a kid, but your child can at Fright on Franklin. There will be a costume contest during the festival, and your child just might go home a winner.

Just because you can’t enter the contest doesn’t mean you can’t get in on the fun. You can put on a costume too, so you’ll blend in with the little ghosts and goblins walking around downtown.

Safe Trick-or-Treating

Trick-or-treating has changed quite a bit since you were a kid. When you were little, your parents probably unleashed you on the neighborhood with the instructions to come back in a few hours. These days, you have to be much more careful. That can make trick-or-treating a little stressful, but it’s a breeze when you do it at Fright on Franklin.

Local vendors will be on-site, handing out candies to the kiddos. Your kids will just need to stop by a booth to get the goodies. They’ll get on the candy they could possibly want, and you won’t have to worry about them going to strangers’ houses. It’s a win for everyone.

Oh, and here’s a cool twist. The booths will be decorated. The city will give out awards for the best-decorated booths, so you know you will see some cool booths at the event.

Fright on Franklin will have cool booths, just like James Corlew Chevrolet in Clarksville, Tennessee, has cool vehicles. In fact, they are so cool you need to see them for yourself. Come by and pick out your new ride today.
