Access to Areas Not Normally Available to the Public

Ever wondered about those areas in the zoo you can’t access? Now’s your chance to find out. You’ll get to run through some of those areas, and you’ll also get to pass by lots of animals. You normally look at the animals at the zoo, but now, they’ll be looking at you, urging you to make it to the finish line.

Get the Ball Rolling on Your New Year’s Resolution

It’s always a good time to run a 5K, but right after New Year’s might be the best time. After all, you just made a resolution, and if you don’t act soon, you likely won’t keep it. Enroll in the Zoo Run Run so you can get off on the right foot this year.

Spend Time with the Entire Family

Everyone is welcome at this race, including children with strollers. The 5K will give you some important family time while doing something for your body and the zoo. What a great way to start the New Year.

Help the Zoo Provide for Animals and Visitors

The zoo has more than 2,300 animals. Just imagine that food bill. This race will help the zoo get much-needed funds to keep those bellies full. The funds will also be used for education programs and keeping the zoo safe and clean. Those are all great reasons to lace up your running shoes and take part in the Zoo Run Run.

The After Party

After you finish the race, you’ll get to celebrate. Snacks and beverages will be provided after you hit the finish line. If you’re over 21, you can get a wristband and enjoy some adult beverages as well. That’s a great way to unwind after the race. You might even make some fitness and animal-loving friends while hanging out.
