Junie B. Jones: The Musical

America’s favorite elementary school student is taking the stage in her very own musical, and she’s coming to Clarksville! “Junie B. Jones: The Musical” follows Junie B. (“the B stands for Beatrice. Except I don’t like Beatrice. I just like B and that’s all”) as she enters first grade and all of the trials and tribulations that come with that.

All About Junie B. Jones

The Junie B. Jones book series was written by Barbara Park from 1992 to 2011 and follows Junie B. through all of her adventures in kindergarten and first grade. She has a mom, Susan Jones; a dad, Robert Jones; and a little brother, Ollie; as well as her grandma and grandpa. Junie B.’s best friend (and Top-Secret Crush) in first grade is Herb, but she is also best friends with Jose, Lennie, Sheldon, and Shirly.

Junie B. Jones remains one of the most popular children’s book series, as it’s a great introduction to chapter books for newer readers. Kids will find themselves laughing out loud and relating to all of Junie B.’s silly adventures throughout the series.
