Christmas has arrived in Clarksville in a big way. The Drive Thru Christmas Lights Show is up and running at the Clarksville Speedway, and it’s the biggest and brightest holiday event in the area. Just imagine a one-mile stretch filled with more than a million lights, and you’ll understand why this is such a big deal. You can take all of the lights in from the comfort of your car, so you don’t even have to get chilly when you see them.
The show runs from Sundays–Thursdays from dark until 9:30 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from dark until 10:30 p.m. It’ll be up until Jan. 1, and it costs $25 per carload.
Get some tips for going to this show.
Save on Admission
The show isn’t very expensive, but it’s always nice to save when you can. There are $5 off coupons scattered throughout the city. You can also find coupons in some of the local publications. Look around for a coupon before you go so you can get in for less.
Gather Your Friends
Remember, you pay by the carload, not the person. Get your friends and neighbors to go with you for the ride. You can pool your money and spend a lot less for the tour.
Go When It Snows
The Clarksville Speedway light show is always gorgeous, but it is like a winter wonderland when it snows. You might not want to drive out in a blizzard, but it is worth the trip in a little snow. The lights sparkle against the snow and make you feel like you’re on the North Pole. It’s truly magical when it snows.
Bring Your Treats
The team at the Clarksville Speedway doesn’t sell treats at the entrance, but that doesn’t mean you can’t bring your own. Load up some hot cocoa and kettle corn to share with your friends and family during the ride. This will enhance the experience and help you feel warm and cozy as you experience the lights.
You can also feel warm and cozy in a new vehicle from James Corlew Chevrolet Cadillac in Clarksville, Tennessee. We have huge deals this holiday season, so treat yourself to a new car, truck, or SUV. Then, you can take your new vehicle with you to the Clarksville Speedway. It will be the perfect companion to see the Christmas lights this year and for years to come.
