The tournament will take place on May 5, and you can choose to participate in the traditional bass, catfish, or kayak bass categories. You’ll fish all morning and weigh your fish in the afternoon. Then you will find out if you deserve the title of King of Cumberland.

If you want to participate, you need to register. It’s $90 per boat for traditional bass and catfish and $40 per boat for kayak bass.

Wait, Wasn’t This Last Month?

Did you think this tournament was last month and you missed it? Well, the weather actually played in your favor. It was supposed to be held last month, but the Cumberland River rose to dangerous levels. Possible debris coupled with strong currents meant that the tournament’s organizers really had no choice but to postpone it until May 5. They realized that was the only way to ensure the safety of the participants.

If you registered for the event before it was postponed, you have two options. You can participate in the May 5 event, or you can get your money back. Everyone who registered should have received an email about the change. It has additional instructions in it.
